A two-minute treat for Vijay fans
‘Theri’ one of the
most-anticipated films of 2016. After Puli's failure, Vijay is likely to bounce
back with this actioner, which has already earned a lot of attention. Added to
that, Vijay is playing a dual role in the film. These factors have increased
the expectations for the film.
It's all Vijay's show
in this two-minute trailer. From the sneak-peek we gather that Vijay is in seen
three different avatars: Joseph
Kuruvilla - a single father, Vijay Kumar - swaggy cop and Dharmeswar.
Filmmaker Mahendran has been roped in to play the
baddie in the film. Don’t you think that’s a peculiar move from the director of
‘Theri’, Atlee? This has to be considered as the second movie for Mahendran,
early he has acted in the biographical film Kamaraj, but he hasn’t played any villain
roles early in any films.
The songs of Theri has
been composed by GV Prakash. The
makers released the songs on Sunday (March 20).
